Chantelle is the proud owner of Stay Hair Studio. This salon has been her dream since she started her career in the hair and beauty industry back in 2005. Chantelle loves creating soft, natural looks that grow out beautifully. Her specialty is creating custom tailored colour applications, including a mix of Hair painting, Balayage, Foilayage and Babylights. she has a passion for education and is always seeking out ways to better her craft through advanced training. Chantelle truly loves connecting with her clients, and believes this industry is so special in that hairstylists get to spend their days providing services for people that make them feel better about themselves. She says “There is no better feeling than making a client feel beautiful, and its a beauty that shines from inside outward, everybody deserves that. I’m lucky that I have the opportunity to do that every day behind the chair ”. Outside of the salon, Chantelle enjoys spending time with her 2 children Maisen & Carver, husband Bryan, 2 dogs Taji & bash , and other friends & family or hitting her mat for some hot yoga.

gabBY has been in the hair industry for 7 years. she has found her home at stay since may of 2020 and fills the role of team Leader at the studio.

she has always had an interest in esthetics, however, she truly found her passion in hair when she could use her creativity to bring joy to someone’s day with a new hairstyle or colour! Gabby loves to take a style from something old to something new fresh! When she’s not in the salon, Gabby is at home relaxing with her watercolours & canvas’ or spending time with her friends & family and labradoodle Mila.

favorite things to do behind the chair: lightening services on all colors of hair with classic foils & lived in balayage. she has a new found love for adding depth and dimension back into hair through lowlighting. she loves a rich solid color & grey blending. Gabby loves working on medium & long length haircuts, as well as mens barbering.

Megans love of hair began in highschool where she took cosmetology courses through grades 10-12. when she graduated she attended the eveline charles academy. her career began in 2015 and she fell even more in love with her new trade after recieveing her diploma in cosmetology & BArbering. MEgan has since recieved her red seal journeyman hairstylist certificate, and ITec level 2 diploma in hairdressing. AFter falling in love with bridal hair and working as a freelance artist for special ocassions, megan began teaching cosmetology at the eveline charles academy, helping bring up the next generation of hairstylists.

Megan has been part of the team at stay since dec 2020. when shes not behind the chair you can find herhome with her hubby, and baby boy Hudson, She ;loves cooking and baking in the kitchen & tending to her garden, And watching all the reality tv. fun fact: megan used to be a gymnast and gymnastics coach and from that she has the patience of a saint and some pretty cool skills.

Shailah (shai) has been behind the chair at stay since jan 2021. she loves to give people confidence and feel beautiful with a custom color and cut to suite their lifestyle and individual needs. shai is the sweetest soul and you will feel right at home in her chair.

Lived in dimensional colors. she loves workikng with adding lightness and depth to hair.

outside the salon shai enjoys spending time with her family: her husband johnathan, son’s lennox & Hendrix, and 2 dogs. shai is currently expecting her thirs baby. she will be on maternity Leave starting mid August 2025.

Justice is passionate young stylist who always new she wanted a career in this industry. She took cosmotology classes through her high school and continued her education Graduating from the hairstylist program at Estelle academy here in edmonton. she has spent her first year working at a prestigious salon in st. albert and has now found a hair home with the team at stay.

Justice is a naturally gifted stylist with a keen eye for beautifully balanced colors. her specialties behind the chair include lived in dimensional colors, rich solids and medium to long length haircuts. she is eager and happy to help create a look perfect for you.
